Created for the Liverpool Biennial 2004 and as part of the first Homotopia Festival, Hello Sailor! was put together by James Lawler and artist Nicholas Hunt.
Featuring work by Chris Turrell, TradeMark, Holly Johnson, Sadie Lee, David Hoyle, Ajamu, Gary Sollars and Nicholas Hunt. As part of the programme a night of Gary Sollars' 'Dollman Disco' provided a platform for performance pieces by Adam Nankervis and Mike Carney, as well as a talk by Sadie Lee.
The success of this exhibition led to the commision for the much larger scale 'Fellow Travellers'.
